IBYKUS AG, the Erfurt system house, has been specializing in integrated IT services for private companies and public authorities since 1990.

We concentrate on producing flexible software solutions that support business processes (such as application, approval and transaction procedures), and the seamless integration of hardware and software into company processes.

We offer a complete project portfolio, starting from the concept, and then covering the supply of hardware, training, bringing the solution into service, and working right through to its operation and maintenance.

In the software division, our main areas of activity lie in specialized processes, especially for managing EU funding, including accounting procedures, e-government, document management, as well as various service processes and idea management.

Our customers also benefit from receiving high-availability solutions from one source. We also design and equip complete computing centers. As a certified Hewlett Packard partner, we provide the appropriate, high-performance hardware. We offer a range of IT outsourcing solutions, so that our customers can concentrate on their core businesses and keep the amount of tied-up capital to a minimum. We also use virtualization to ensure that working processes are efficient and increase our customers' profitability. Throughout Germany we have gained a good reputation for our extensive range of products and services.

We currently have some 120 employees located at our Erfurt headquarters and two branches in Chemnitz and Leipzig.

We use our IBYKUS AP/® software platform for this purpose. This is a multicomponent development tool that holds all the information centrally in a database, and possesses the major advantages of open architecture and free configurability. This AP platform technology forms the basis for a number of other standard products in the IBYKUS portfolio.

The quality of our projects benefits from our many years of experience of serving diverse industrial sectors and public authorities. In the public sector, we see one of our main tasks as enabling all levels of government from the local municipality to national government offices to adapt their processes and procedures quickly to changes in statutory law. All our IBYKUS departments work closely together to produce the best possible solutions.

In order to meet our high standards in all respects, we cooperate closely with partners such as Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu Siemens, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. For example, the partnership with SAP enables IBYKUS to map individual funding procedures in the agricultural and forestry industries with the use of SAP modules. This marks us out as a specialist in the fields of document management and SAP Records Management.
